Colorectal cancer is a disease of civilization. Its worldwide incidence depends on the development of the country. The current studies
clearly show a significantly higher incidence of the disease in the developed countries. Diagnosis is often delayed, early stages of the
disease are usually asymptomatic. Therefore, about 25 % of cases are diagnosed as an already advanced disesase. In the case of locally
advanced pelvic tumors without evidence of metastatic disease is indicated by en bloc pelvic exenteration. The surgery and postoperative
period are especially severe burden on the organism. Good condition and the patient’s informed consent is an important condition
for the indication of the surgery.
