Pregnant woman at a urologist΄s office

Urologist at urological outpatient clinic contact many specific groups of patients. Pregnant women are one of them. Pregnancy produce

many changes for women. Results of this changes are low imunity, disturbance of drainage of upper urinary tract and disturbance of

voiding and storage symptoms of the bladder, also due to anatomical, hormonal and functional changes. Urologist is restricted in using

diagnostic and therapeutic method due to pregnancy. Many diagnostical and therapeutic methods are contraindicated during pregnancy.

Many problems are often in the second and the third trimester. The most common diseases are acute pyelonephritis, renal colic, urinary

infection, LUTS. Overview of urological complications during pregnancy and their resolution is served in this article.
