Tuberculosis, a disease that is the cause of unaccountable human suffering and economic loss, paradoxically is to be considered one of
the most researched human affection. Relative decrease of incidence of tuberculosis in last decades of 20th century resulted in decrease
of interest both in scientific and non professional quarters. Tuberculosis still remains as a serious medical problem in the third world and
with the increase of migration from these localities becomes a hot theme also in our settings. Genitourinary tuberculosis is the most
common form of extra pulmonary tuberculosis which has to be considered in clinical praxis and using on time diagnostics and correct
treatment to prevent or reduce the risk of irreversible alteration of genitourinary tract.
