Ženská sexuální dysfunkce (ŽSD) je onemocnění s poměrně vysokou prevalencí. Její výskyt závisí nejen na věku a omezuje podstatné části postižených žen kvalitu života. Jako multikauzální a multidimenzionální problém zahrnuje jak biologické, tak psychologické a interpersonální faktory. Poruchy jsou děleny do oblasti sexuální touhy, vzrušení, prožívání orgazmu a výskytu bolesti. Autoři shrnují údaje o výskytu, diagnostice a terapii tohoto onemocnění.

FEMALE SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION

Female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is a disease with relatively high incidence in the community. Its incidence in not only age-dependent and it limits life quality of significant proportion of affected women. Dysfunction, as a multicausal and multi­dimensional problem, comprises both biological, psychological and interpersonal factors. Disorders are listed according to a sexual desire, arousal, experiencing an orgasm and pain incidence. Authors summarize data on incidence, diagnosis and therapy of this disease.
