Screening karcinomu prostaty je dlouhodobì diskutovaným tématem. Mnoho otázek kolem screeningu bylo ji¾ zodpovìzeno a tak mnohé vyspìlé zemì mají stanovenou urèitou strategii. Screening je pak souèástí zdravotní péèe. U nás takováto koncepce chybí a screening je spí¹e zneu¾íván ne¾ vyu¾íván. Následující text by mìl být urèitým pøehledem informací o souèasném stavu této problematiky.
